Dmedia 3D displays require specific multi-view content, dissimilar to left and right stereo content displayed on standard glasses 3D television. It requires not just 2 but n points of view, multiplexed into one single image. These n points of view are generally rendered or filmed using n virtual or real cameras, according to very precise rules. The aim is to reproduce on-screen the same three-dimensional feeling as one would have when looking at a similar scene through a window. Under this condition, the experience will be both natural and pleasant for the viewer.
